Linwood Clarence Sabin

Linwood Clarence Sabin, 91, of Millersburg, passed away in Palmetto, Florida  July 3, 2014, as the result of an automobile accident he was involved in on March 26, 2014. Lin was born on January 13, 1923 to Bethel Lee and Myrtle Sabin in Tower.

Lin is survived by his wife of 72 years, Thelma “Marie” Sabin of Millersburg; a son Lindy (Kathy) Sabin and grandson, Gregory (Susanna) Sabin, all of Williamston; and great-grandsons, Alexander and Zachary Sabin of Saline. Also surviving are a nephew, Chip (Amy) Cross of Bear Lake; a niece, Chris Cross of Onaway; great-nieces Abby and Jenna Cross; brother-in-law, Bill Russell; sisters-in-law, Shirley (Alvin) Zampich of Millersburg and Berta (Don) Mercer of Spring Arbor; many great-nieces and nephews; as well as special friends, Robert and Hilda Mann who were such a help during this difficult time.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the Millersburg Methodist Church with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. The Revs. Vince Nader and Carmen Cook will officiate.
