Richard J. McDonald
Richard J. McDonald, 78, of Rogers City, passed away July 14, 2014 at home.
He was born September 22, 1935 in Alpena to Leonard and Lucille (Kieliszewski) McDonald.
Mr. McDonald is survived by his wife, Marie; seven children, Susan (Larry) Altman, Paul (Pam) McDonald, Cora (Wayne) Augsburger, Cheryl (Mark) Kowalewsky, Mary Jo (Scott) Hein, Sarah (Jeff) Kamyszek and Elizabeth (Robert G. II) Entenmann; 19 grandchildren, Melissa (Chris) Schleben, Amanda (Frankie) Jumper, Patrick Altman, Kevin McDonald, Samantha McDonald, Megan McDonald, Elena McDonald, Stacie (Steve Papineau) Augsburger, Matthew (Ashley) Augsburger, Taylor Kowalewsky, Sloan Kowalewsky, Cason Kowalewsky, Dustin Hein, Jacob Hein, Isaac Hein, Alyssa Jo Hein, Cole Kamyszek, Joshua Kamyszek and Robert G. Entenmann III; eight great-grandchildren, Brandon Schleben, Brandon McCormick, Hayli McCormick, Nevaeh McCormick, Erica Jumper, Hunter Jumper, Ajay Jumper and Ella Papineau; a sister, Helen (Ken) Bullis; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home today (Thursday) from 3 until 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume Friday at Peace Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. through time of funeral at 11 a.m. with the Rev. J. Derek Riddle officiating.
Interment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church, St. John Lutheran School, Hospice of the Sunrise Shore or a charity of your choice.
