David Paul Delekta
David Paul Delekta, 50, of Rogers City, passed away August 16, 2014 at the University of Michigan Hospital.
He was born October 9, 1963 in Rogers City to Leon and Bertha (Altman) Delekta.
David is survived by his wife, Diane; three sons, Andrew, Matthew and Benjamin; father, Leon of Rogers City; eight siblings, Gloria (Frank) Cicero of Rogers City, Patrick (Jean) of Posen, Daniel (Sherri) of Rogers City, Rita (Larry) Reilly of Hawaii, Marvin of Rogers City, Jim of Rogers City, Linda (Richard) Lenard of Posen and Lisa Knopf of Rogers City.
Visitation was at the Beck Funeral Home Tuesday. Visitation continued Wednesday from 2 until 8 pm. where the rosary will be led by the Knights of Columbus at 6:30 p.m. followed by the parish wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume today (Thursday) at St. Ignatius Catholic Church from 10 a.m. through time of Mass at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Sylvestre Obwaka officiating.
Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Delekta Family for a charity to be decided on later.
