David Joseph Wiza
David Joseph Wiza, 84, of Valdosta, Georgia passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born May 8, 1930 in Posen to the late Joseph and Anna (Klimaszewski) Wiza.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, David C. and Kathy Wiza of Beaverton, Oregon, Scott and Faith Wiza of Valdosta; five grandchildren, April Wiza, D.J. Wiza, Chris Wiza, Alex Wiza and Chelsea Wiza; and three great-grandchildren, Auncia Wiza, Lucas Wiza and Laci Wiza.
David was the youngest of 11 children, and is survived by his brother, Arthur Wiza; and sisters Stella Lanning, Dorothy Sherill and Irene Weide.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday, September 25) in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services.
