Rosabell M. Cowles

Rosabell M. Cowles, 86, of Onaway died at McLaren Northern Michigan hospital in Petoskey Tuesday, December 30, 2014.

The daughter of Herbert and Fern (Burnell) Tennant, Rosabell was born August 12, 1928 and was raised in Allis Township.

Surviving Rosabell are her son, Ronald Lee (Pauline) Cowles; daughter, Mary Jean Miller; and granddaughter, Rhonda Jean Miller, all of Onaway; grandson, Frederick “Rick” (Jessica) Miller of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; great-granddaughter, Evelyn Rosabel Elyse Miller; brother, George Edward Tennant of Sault Ste. Marie; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Community of Christ Church in Onaway. Elder Florence Hughes officiated. Rosabell’s final resting place will be at Hillcrest Cemetery.
