Condensed Minutes
January 19, 2015
The regular meeting of the Board of Road Commissioners for Presque Isle County was held at the Road Commission office at 657 South Bradley, Rogers City, Michigan. Chairman Ronald Bischer called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.
Board Members Present: Ronald Bischer, Thomas Catalano, Charles Rhode.
Also Present: Supt/Mgr. Smigelski, Clerk Wirgau.
Visitors: Two.
Minutes:
A motion was approved to accept minutes from January 19, 2015 meeting as presented.
Ayes: All.
Accounts Payable:
Motion by Rhode (Catalano) to approve the accounts payable in the amount of $88,068.13. Ayes: Bischer, Catalano, Rhode.
Supt./Mgr Report:
• Discussion was held regarding a primary road in Allis and North Allis townships.
• Year-to-date snowfall is: 58” as of January 31, 2015.
• Supt./Mgr will be attending the County Road Engineer’s Workshop this week.

Motions were approved accepting bids for purchase of a used semitruck and one new tandem-axle truck.

New Business:
A motion was approved authorizing expenses for Clerk and Payroll Clerk to attend the 2015 Finance and HR Business Seminar in Bay City May 12-14, 2015.
A motion was approved amending language in the Presque Isle Road Commission CDL Physical Policy.
The next meeting dates for the Board of Road Commissioners will be on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. and Monday, March 2, 2015 at 8:30 a.m.
There being no further business it was moved by Catalano (Rhode) to adjourn the meeting at 9:45 a.m. Ayes: All.
