Hilda Rose Bauer
Hilda Rose Bauer, 99, of Rogers City passed away January 31, 2015 at Golden Beach Manor. She was born July 28, 1915 in Pontiac to Charles and Eleanor (Suppus) Young. Hilda graduated from Pontiac High School in 1935.
On June 2, 1936 she married Lee Bauer in Auburn Heights. Mrs. Bauer is survived by two children, Carolyn (Gordon) Brazas of Valle Crucis, North Carolina and Dale (Patricia) Bauer of Rogers City; seven grandchildren, James, Todd, Heather, Kara, Stephanie, Thoma and Mathew; 10 great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Joyce Young, Doris Young, Dorothy Brewer and Blanche O’Dell; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home Thursday, April 23, from noon through time of her funeral service at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Thomas Smuda officiating. Burial will take place next to her husband in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Hospice of the Sunrise Shore or Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rogers City.
