Elaina Madison crowned Miss Onaway

Elaina Madison is the new Miss Onaway using her grace and talent to earn the honors. She won the talent portion of the competition with a song from Tangled. She will earn a $1,250 scholarship upon completion of one year in college. Miss Onaway 2014, Rachel Nave had the honor of crowning her successor at the pageant at Onaway High School Friday.

Kristy Hopp win the photogenic award, as voted on by the judges before they met the contestants. She also won the evening gown  award. Alyssa Roat won the congeniality award. Other participants in the Miss Onaway pageant were Kirsten List and Emily Robins.

Gevah Swinford won the Little Miss Onaway. Other contestants in the Little Miss were Maggie Grant, Lauren Fenstermaker and Elizabeth Vogt-DeRosa.

Pageant director Kymberli Wregglesworth also presented scholarship checks to former Miss Onaway winners Rachel Nave, Sara Fullerton and Emilee Madison along with a check for first runner-up Mariah Ehrke.
